Hi guys (and girls)

Whilst t-cutting and polishing the Puma, I noticed the entire body looks like it was cleaned with a brillo pad. Is this from automatic car washes and how can I get rid of them?

Thanks!

They're the most likely causes yes, although T-cutting the paint won't help as it is very aggressive and can mar the paint.

The best way to reduce them is to wash the car correctly using washmitts, two buckets and a decent wash solution. Then dry off using drying towels.

The only way you'll get rid of them completely is to machine polish the paint, aka paint correction.

HTH! :eek:k:

Automatic car washes won't produce circular swirls. By their very nature they'll produce straight line scratches if anything.

Circular swirls will most likely be caused by washing the car with a dirty sponge or polishing it with an aggressive compound or dirty /scratchy cloth.
