Great article. Although currently I don't think there's a single Racing Puma advertised for sale, people will read it, go looking on a whim with the enthusiasm to buy and be a bit disappointed.

It's is that one, plus the stiffener and outer repair panel as they were over skinned

Well, this is a picture of my FRP mid-repair showing the inner sill / strengthener which as you can see is very rotten!



This is the original sill / quarter that is over the top of the inner sill, and on the FRP had to be 'massaged' with a hammer to allow the FRP wide arch to go over the top



And then the final part over the top!

70/80's merc SL's are the same a right pain to do especially as the repair always need modifying
