hi guys i'm tossing up the idea getting a Puma again soon i'm in no rush but i thought id put it out there since the 2 cars are valued at about the same so i thought id see if anyone is interested
This Calibra was my mothers, before that my grandads and my fathers before that and has been in the family since 2006 before that it had 1 elderly lady owner from new
it is a SE6 8V once of the final Calibra's made only sold in this colour with these alloys
originally sold 1st June 2006 i believe there's less than 160 left of this model
its currently on 66,000 mile (but rising as i use it daily)
it had been excellently maintainable by my grandfather who is an excellent retired mechanic it has had well over £2000 spent on it since 2008 with work such as:
- New Clutch
- Belts All Round
- New Exhaust
- Full Alloy Refub
- 4 New Vredestein All Weather Tyres (less than 3000 miles ago)
- Full Service History
- New Brakes/Discs/Calipers
among a folder of many more receipts for littler jobs
Everything works on this 15 year old car such as Heated Seats, Windows, Air Con, All Electrics
now the down sides... there had to be some its 15 ha
luckily its all superficial there's one thumps sized rust patch on passenger door but there are a few light small marks on each door but nothing bad especially for age my grandad whilst being a excellent mechanic is not so good on body work front so he has attempted a few touch ups around the car in a colour which isn't quite right
if you were to get this car resprayed in certain places it would'nt be an exaggeration to say it could go in a museum
what i'm after
Puma would consider any engine
sub 60,000 miles
hopefully no rust on wheel arches
obviously a well kept one no shed's
money wise ive seen these go for £3000 and £850 in the past 3 months taking into account that underneath the body this ones PERFECT/MINT but the body needs a little work i wouldn't let it go for less than £1900
