Just out of interest is there any security cameras at the retail park that might have caught the nutters reg plate, report the matter to the police and if they track the knob down he will have to pay for the damage to your car.

You will be surprised how many cameras there are outside/ around a car park area of a retail park.

You wouldn't believe some of the stuff I have to put up with just because I drive buses. I indicate, drive properly and try not to pull out in front out people although i'll admit I have no patience with people, difficult to when your trying to steer 14 tonnes of coach around someone being a pillock.

If only we didn't get hauled upstairs for hitting things, there would be a good few less cars in the Salisbury area!

I was gonna say the same thing.

My old housemate was a victim of a road rage nutter a while ago, he come up to a set of traffic lights with 2 lanes, the 1st lane was clear and as he approached the lights went green, so he didnt slow down too much, therefore undertaking a couple of stationary cars in the 2nd lane. He cut no-one up, there was no dangerous driving involved, he was just progressing in his lane as the lights turned on his approach.
The nutter in the Range Rover sitting at the traffic lights didnt seem to like it much so decided to give chase. They were on a dual carridgeway and it was quite late at night, but this maniac got in front of my mates mondeo and slammed on the brakes. He pulled out and overtook, so the rangerover sped up, got infront of him again and did the same thing. My friend slowed down to stay behind him this time and the Range Rover came to a complete stop. They waited for about 30 seconds or so (still on the dual carridgeway) then my mate floored it around the Range Rover then the nutter gave chase again. My mate didnt know who or how many of them he was dealing with, what drugs they might have been on or what weapons there might have been involved. This time my mate didnt stop, not even for traffic lights. FORTUNATELY he sped through a red light and straight past a police car. The police car pulled him over so in theory, he was safe. He explained the situation to the copper, gave all the details, reg number, description of vehicle etc, and the copper let him off and gave him a police escort to the nightclub he was supposed to be picking his girlfriend up from.

I dont know what i'd have done if i was put in that situation!

most road rage cases are cos people dont know how to drive properley and when there mistakes are pointed out they get embarrassed and get angry hence the road rage. alot of people are all mouth and will never actualy do anything they just like the drama.

i wasnt a victim of road rage as such but did step in a young guy in a black focus was behind me went on the wrong side of the road to overtake me even though i was doin the speed limit and as he got in front of me an old bloke pulled out of a turning which was clear as i was the next car until doppy in the focus over took! the focus had to slam his brake s on to avoid hitting the old guy and at the next set of lights he was out of his car with a wheel brace banging on the old guys window screaming at him! i dont condone violence BUT in 3secs i was out of the car giving him what for and he soon changed his tune when he was trying to fight an old man! what scum picking a fight with a 80 year old bloke who prob coundnt hurt a fly, he must have felt really hard after i throw his keys into a really dark field and left him at the lights!

the old guy was ok and thanked me for helping him! my good deed for the day :grin:
