waiting for my v5

the v5 was sent away on monday (5th july)
when can i expect it to arrive because i cant tax it without it.

Mine took about a week to come back recently.

Thought you could still tax them at the post office....guess they probably changed it all since I last had to do that.

yippee-afaik you need the v5 and an insurance cover note and last time i took in the cover note i downloaded and printed off they said they couldnt accept it so i had to wait and do it online...

You only need the MOT & insurance to tax it.

The slip you have from the V5 counts as a V5 anyway, so you dont need the full one.

The V5 states will take upto 6 weeks, but generally 1-2 weeks.
