Just a short topic to correct a misconception that's knocking around.

WD40 is not suitable for cleaning electronics.

Try some of this Switch Cleaner

It's the same price as a can of WD40, so if you've got switch problems try some of this.
 
WD40 more for the mechanical workings which may be related to operating the switches though?

Anyway i'd give it a go. Cheers Peter :)
 
WD40 is a good water repellent though.
