whats the air valve for under the bonnet same as on a tyre

can any one tell me what its for im curious to know . its under the engine cover next to the oil cap. :?

To depressurise the fuel system before you remove the fuel pipes.

haha i just thought it was for pumping something up and was tempted to the other day to see what hapens good job i didnt, knowing my luck i would probably blow my car up only had it a week bought it of sum kid from smithdown road ,ian i will be getting loads ov bits and bobs of you in the near future for sure im only in speke, my pumas been a bit abused by the last owner its to low hits all the bumps and it needs sum parts replacing vents and buttons ect you will prob spot me floating around black puma on its arse black windows massive skirts on it with massive exaust on an 02 . ose:

Handy little valve that, saved me breaking into my fuel pipes for the nitrous as I just came direct from that valve. Made the setup a lot easier. Even btter if it had been on the battery side of the engine.

does the nos go straight on a standard engine or does it have to be modified so it doesnt blow up just curious :grin:
