Wheel arch trim, any good?

My wheel arches are starting to show up minor rust bubbles.
Has anyone had any experience with these?

I thought about painting them the same colour as my car (moondust silver) and sticking them on.

Since I bought the car for £400 i dont really fancy biting the bullet and spending another 300-400 just to get a body shop to replace the arches. £30 sounds reasonable though
