Hello people. I may have asked this before but i need to be sure before I splash the cash.

If I were to lower my car 40mm on coilovers, would I be able to fit 205/40/17 wheels and tyres with an offset of 38 without having any clearance/rubbing problems?

Cheers

Mine's 205/40/17 lowered about 40mm with offset of ET37 and it only rubs ever so slightly on full lock.

I had 205/40/17 ET34 for a while and they rubbed on the wheel arch wing a tad on full lock.

If yours does a bit with ET37, there's always the option of a thin spacer to space it out a bit.

with an offeset of 38 what size spacer will i require to prevent rubbing? 3mm, 5mm?

ive got 3mm spacers on and they work wonders. my offset is 45 aswell. doesnt get rid of rubbing all together but helps.
