Where do people suggest I use my track day voucher? I'm going to be doing brands in November, done silverstone over the weekend, would really like to do oulton but is the drive worth the track, if you get my drift?
Not too keen on snetterton as the layout doesn't look to be very challenging.
Bedford autodrome is close to me, has anyone been there, if so what are your thoughts on it?
I can't use the voucher at donnington and Combe is quite a short track and I don't feel that it's worth the drive.
So suggestions?

Dunsfold Aerodrome - Iconic Track
Thruxton - Very fast track
Combe - Short but its the Puma track
Lydden Hill - Very short track but keeps you on the steering wheel and the gas constantly.

bedford is ok, oulton is worth the drive one of the top tracks in the uk, btcc track too

We used to do 8 rounds a year at oulton, it is excellent, but you want the long circuit, Caldwell would also be epic in the frp as it is tight and hilly and was originally a bike circuit

Cadwell is brilliant but has very little run off, I'm a big fan of airfields like RAF wittering just for the run off. But Bedford is pretty good and close to me.
Javelin trackdays are who we always go with there pretty leeniant.

I've driven Combe quite a lot but I still like it, you'll pick it up well but its not the most forgiving so its a challenge to squeeze out a few more tenths if you're in to lap times.

Oulton is also a great track, longer so a bit more to see but I do long for a little bit more power whenever I drive it. You'll have less of a worry in an FRP but the long straights do highlight any lack of grunt.

Others I can't comment on, never driven Bedford or Snet.

I would recommend Cadwell, I have done this a couple of times and it is so far my favourite track and well worth the drive.

I love cadwell, but it was always a bit hairy for us as we had a 400bhp V8 rwd 650kg spaceframed, carbon bodied, full downforce escort!! Oh yes and the mountain has a habit of breaking driveshafts.

I have done oulton a long time ago on a kawasaki 500 h1, it was my local and in those days it was pro racing short for production bike racing...well before track days were popular...I used to live in the tree on the top corner before the start finish line, again well before they put the barbed wire aroudn the tree to stop you climbing in it...those were the days...

never done it in a car though...

I have, against DTM mercs, metro 6r4s and spaceframed astons and lotus's, great circuit

It is a good fast circuit, my first time out I spun the car 720 degrees on the first lap!! it was wet though in my defence and I hadnt got any heat into the wets.

I'm thinking Oulton is the one I'm going to go for. Novice or open pit lane as it will only be my second time on a track?

Good choice of Oulton had my old bike on a few track days round there shame the Blackbird isn't really built for the track!

Caldwell looks like it could be a good track to have a play on, would mean taking 2 days off work, which I'm all for

i did cadwell and its amazing! such a good blend of tight and twisty and big open corners
