Whistling noise.

My Puma has developed a whistling noise, usually after warm up, driving off.
Sounds alittle like a turbo whine. No change when I go through the gears and usually goes when engine has reached normal op temp.

I recently removed the heat shield as it was loose - could this be the problem as no other blowing from the exhaust? Apart from that all has been usual Pips. (He hates the cold).

Normal search 'whistling' brought up some interesting reading lol

had my heatshield removed as it was rattling but no whistle noise.im thinking maybe the expansion tank under pressure?
