Ford Fair 2012 - Sign Up Thread

Project Puma @ Ford Fair - Sunday 12th August 2012

Once again Project Puma will have a presence at Ford Fair - the biggest Ford event in Europe. We are usually the sole Puma representation at the show, so be sure to come along if you would like to display your car!

Venue

Silverstone Circuit

Meet Point and Timings

Tesco Towcester - Old Tiffield Road, Towcester NN12 6PF‎ (Just off A43/A5). Meet time is 0630. We will then convoy the short distance to Silverstone together. Please note you will need to come to the meet point to collect your tickets and passes.

Payment Information

Tickets for this years show are priced at £15, a saving of £3 if you were to buy them on the gate. The price includes a ticket and a stand pass for your Puma. Please note I cannot request more stand passes than tickets.

Payment can be made to [email protected] via PayPal. If you would like to pay by another method (ie bank transfer etc), drop me a PM and we'll make arrangements. Alternatively, you can pay in cash at March's Leicester meet

Please let me know in this thread how many tickets + car passes you require. I will require payment by Sunday 22nd April at the latest.

Further Information

Track Time

We will not be booking group sessions of track time. If you wish to track your Puma, you will need to purchase this yourself through the Ford Fair website. Please let me know if you are intending to do a track session so we can position your car so it can be easily extracted from the stand!

Camping

Camping is once again available - this could be useful if you are coming quite a distance. As I prefer my bed to a roll mat, I won't be booking this for the club either :lol:. Camping can be booked through the Ford Fair website.

Joint Stands

We have attended Ford Fair on our own for three years now, and are not planning on this being a joint stand with other Puma forums.

Car Presentation

Rust is not a problem (this is a Puma after all), but we do ask for all cars on the stand to be clean and tidy. If you ask really nicely, I might even do a quick detail for you on the day

Looking forward to it! i will pay at the leicester meet, im planning on doing 3 track sessions so there will be a spare seat for anyone that fancies a ride out on the track, think it cost £10 for a passenger ticket...Just putting it out there for anyone interested.

Neil did I ever pay you for sending ticket special delivery last year when i had the breakdown?? cant remember if i did or not.


Also, having seen the thread opening bookings on passionford, the fastford team have said that this year there is NO politics when it comes to stand location and it will be based on first come first served with the sooner we book, the closer to the paddock we will be.

Hence why I'm posting the form earlier than last year!

1 stand Pass and 1 Ticket please mate (I'll send the funds on Thursday)

I'll be doing 2 track sessions so will be offering the same as Jay has if anyone fancies a ride round Silverstone in the FRP usually £10 gets you unlimited passenger rides for the day (if you have a few people you know doing track sessions its a good deal)
