my head lights have gone off after i had a short on an auxilary circuit

there is a purple black wire going into the light stalk which i spliced into for a constant live feed to run another switch and relay (low power side), this has worked fine for at least 6 months now

i earthed out the live today in error working on the car and had a spark.

I have checked all the fuses in the under dash box, all the fuses in engine bay, changed both headlight relays, changed the relay on the side of the dash box and even the stalk but....

still no live at this wire now and headlights as a result dont work

is there another fuse box, fused relay or something hidden away? everything would suggest a blowen fuse,

Have you checked the fuses at the rear side of the Central Fuse Box?
On the later models:
Fuse 49 (20 amp, Yellow) protects Light Switch, Ignition.
Fuse 50 (25 amp, Clear) protects Light Switch, Battery.

no - sounds like the ones its a 2002 car

do you just take the internal fuse box out which is by your right knee and look on the rear
