An adventure from early in the day, still loads of standing water and a cold track.
resulting in a huge surprise lock up entering the wiggler (literally)
I`m glad it happened, as I then used this spot to push the brakes to the point of failing (skid) and recovering it again.
The joys of home made brakes.

Mate martins loses it coming out corner around 5min 45 seconds when he misses a gear. lol dose full 360 spin.

I used the hump in the wiggler to bump the back end round the corner to get a straight exit...meant you could keep the power on all the way through the wiggler lol.

Looked a great day and love the videos with different drivers, the angle from the back is great can see the track, gear-changes, steering wheel control and faces!

Aww shame Stu...I was looking forward to that video. I must admit, I bought a new usb cig lighter adapter and it seems it was a bit hit and miss...didn't record as much video as I hoped...and kept cutting out. I'm thinking I need to rig up some permenant set up on a switch

One thing I did notice Stu is you had a very smooth style and were still sticking in the lap times...I was giving it a good thrashing and not really making much difference on the lap times. I listen to your car going round, sounds like a Sunday drive...I listen to mine and it sounds like the last lap of the last race in a grand prix lol

Here's me chasing Jake's Civic...he was just pace setting really..he has 190 BHP and a fully race prepped car and is an excellent driver....he was waiting for me, he could have pulled away at anytime

Don't be fooled...
I had to feather in the gas or I was just spinning up the wheels,
I compared times with a video from the summer, I was surprised just how quick I was on Sunday.
Plus, smooth is fast ;-)

Hi Nick.
I've had another watch of both our vids and the difference is gear changes.
Quite simply I sat in 3rd for most of the lap. Dropping to second in those conditions just meant loads of wheelspin and another gear shift. Losing time!
In better conditions, I would have been searching for the extra drive from the shorter gear.
Our lines were spookily similar..

Yeah I like to use the lower gear cos your right on it should the back end step away...happened a few times but it was in the power band so I could power out of it...case in point with the big drift...that was one of several on a few different corners.

It's kind of my style because I do it in the dry too - get the back end out so I keep it in the pwer all the time.

I was surprised at how fast they were...they are the same as my ZS180 in the dry! but I couldn't drive then lol. First time I've been there in the Puma.
