It's on 86k and I believe they have never been changed. Hence why I'm thinking they need replacing. The car was in a bump just over a year ago but it had to have a new tie rod done and also the tracking due to the bent tie rod. But as far as the arms go, they've never been changed. Think I'll...
Sweet. Thanks for that mate. Could just stick the multimeter in one port and the other lead on the engine block to locate live port on the supply plug. Thanks again. Just ash I could put the hid kit in my motor.
Sweet. They look awesome. Was thinking of getting a kit for my passat as my light are worse than useless but I need to buy projector headlamps as mine are reflective. Thanks guys. I'm pretty confident around electrics so should be a diddle on installations but are there any how to's??
Hi guys and gals. Thinking of upgrading my sisters headlights to HIDs. One question though is what hid bulb replaces the hb3 headlight bulb?? I've seen alot around that fit h7/h4 but hb3 seem to be more rarer.
Any thoughts, ideas or previous experiences well glad fully be received.
Good luck with that one if my local ford stealers is anything to go by. I asked for the front caning lighting diagrams and he just looked at me blankly!!!
Well my sister has. Lol. £292 for two new rear bearings and drums. Just annoying after I spent the time sorting and doing the bearings really carefully they knacker out. Still, spoke to gsf today and there willing to refund the cheap bearings. That twice now I've had problems from gsf's v-techs...
Well I reused the old caged nuts after the first one I used from the kit started to round of so I had to peel back the cage and undo each nut individually until the 5mm washer which held the out bearing in place could come out. I then reused the old nut which I could then retighten up.
I...
to be honest it was clean as anything. no divets or gauges out the metal. the ledge had some very light tap marks on it but nothing to really worry about it. the bearing cups tapped up to the ledge and i made sure they were sitting flat against it all the way round. we'll have to c what happens...
Got some v-tech bearings from GSF. Packed the bearings exactly the same way as in that video. The garage is now replacing the drums and bearings for new items. Costing around £300+ for both to be done.
Ring up ford and ask them which one u need as "u think you've been told the wrong one"
Works for me. Then go back and order the cheaper version elsewhere. U can actually get two types I believe, the stretchable version which stretches over the cv joint or the harder version which...
This should give u some idea. There not to bad, just fiddly and time consuming. This guide should give a good idea. It's on the fiesta but should work the same. Also I'd disconnect the battery as u may get abs light come on. Good luck.

right well somethings gone badly wrong guys  ! the drivers rear bearing has died only after 2 weeks of light driving, oh and the passenger one is also starting to grind. the drums have about 91k on them. i have replaced the inner and outer bearing with new cups and seals. i have greased...
Well finally did the bushes today. Bit of a nightmare. Ended up dropping the mounting brackets off, angle grinding the bolts and nuts off both side as the bolt heads rounded off due to them being knackered. Drilled and sawed out the old bushes that were absolutely buggered. Cleaned up, greased...
