I posted last week about getting a new Heater Control Valve. I got one from Ford, paying pretty much the same price as other posters had paid. I just called up a local garage to find out about fitting...£60! He also said if it's the wrong part, he'll charge me £60 per hour while its on the ramp...

But the actual heater valve needs replacing though doesn't it? Is it worth getting one from Ford?

Evening, Maybe I'm going mad, but I'm very tempted by the FRPs on Pistonheads right now. They have quite high mileage though, at 65 and 82k, but are both the same price at 6,300. I almost bought one before but kinda chickened out — but I'm kinda bored with my usual standard Puma and want...

I thought that stuff was the actual leather bulging...not dirt. So it does actually scrape off without revealing bare...whatever's under it?

haha. I agree the Puma steering wheel is prone to going all soft and weird-feeling. It feels like anti-bacterial wipes are wearing it down further. I try to handle the rubber bits top and bottom to minimise wear. I think it is a man thing, but it's a manly trait I don't share. That looks like...
