Just Putting the Feelers Out (So to Speak!)

I think its a fair price. It's not perfect but it's pretty tidy and has been 100% reliable over the last 12 months and 18,000 miles. With a bit of TLC it could be a really nice car.

    1997 1.7 Moondust on Prop's. £495.

Due to a change in circumstances I'm selling my beloved Puma. It's a 1997 1.7 and as you can see it's Moondust Silver on Prop's (still the best combo' in my honest opinion). It's done 98K and has been well looked after throughout it's life with a nice fat folder of receipts. It's pretty much...

Just Putting the Feelers Out (So to Speak!)

This car is now officially for sale if anyone is interested. Mileage is now 98k. The car has developed a minior rattle on the back left corner which may require some attention. Also, the exhaust dropped off the rubbers and burnt a section of the rear ABS wiring loom so the ABS light and T/C...

    ABS Rear Wiring Loom?

I know it's the same as some Fiesta ones but not sure about the KA?

    ABS Rear Wiring Loom?

    Not sure it's suitable as mine's a '97.

    ABS Rear Wiring Loom?

Does anyone know if it can be spliced in?

    ABS Wiring Loom

Bit of a strange one this. Not sure if I need parts or if it's fixable. Our exhaust fell off yesterday and when the RAC put it back on he noticed that where the exhaust had dropped prior to falling off completely, it's melted the wiring loom for the rear ABS (that explains the ABS warning light...

oops sorry Focus ST and oops very sorry officer...

Drove across to Bavaria 2 weeks ago and I can confirm that autobahns are very much still alive in Germany. Travelled on numerous German motorways on the way and there is still no speed limit in place. You have to keep your eyes out as you do need to slow to 130 kph, then 100 kph as you go past...

Just Putting the Feelers Out (So to Speak!)

I agree in principal but the thing is you're talking about a £600 car. Of course, if Ford say it should be done every 5 years, then it probably should. If the cambelt was due on my Volvo I'd have it done, but then that's a £6k car, not a £600 one. The question you have to ask is "Is it worth...

What is the beige box, just out of interest?

    Thoughts appreciated...

I've been using my '97 1.7 (with 95k) for an 80 mile daily commute for nearly a year now. Never missed a beat and it still shows much newer, supposedly faster cars, a clean pair of heels on the M3!

Just Putting the Feelers Out (So to Speak!)

Due to a change in circumstances I'm looking at possibly selling my beloved Puma ( :-( ). I need to decide if it's worthwhile though as I really don't want to part company with it. It's a 1997 1.7 and as you can see it's Moondust Silver on Prop's (still the best combo' in my honest opinion)...

ABS & Traction Control lights on.

Sorry if this has already been discussed elsewhere but I couldn't find it. Also, not sure if it's electrical or mechanical so posting it here! After 15k miles of trouble free motoring my ABS and traction control lights have come on and won't go off. Any ideas?
