I'm interested... not had one for a few years and missed mine ever since it died! I take it it's still available? How crusty are the rear arches and the sills near the front wings?

VR sensor and Direct fire coil (megasquirt)

and for that i'd need 4x373's, a cam sensor and crank sensor and the 4 coil sticks each fired off their own 373? problem is where the camshaft is on the vw flat four, to get a cam signal i'd need to keep the dizzy and modify it for cam signal. i think id rather run wasted spark COPs

VR sensor and Direct fire coil (megasquirt)

VR sensor and Direct fire coil (megasquirt)

yeah i dont want to use edis, the megamanual just states that one driver is to be used per coil so i thought id be able to fire 1 coid 4 times per rev in wasted spark no?

VR sensor and Direct fire coil (megasquirt)

hi, I'm after some advice on some bits i can steal from fiesta's puma's escorts etc for converting my '72 beetle to fuel injection. 1st off, can someone tell me where the crank trigger VR sensor is mounted on most ford engines? and secondly, if anybody out there is clued up on megasquirt- for...

    300mm Conversion - ST170

thats not what he asked  to the op- im not sure if st170 calipers can be used or not. even if they can, unless you have a set sat there i would go for mk3 mondeo calipers as they will be more abundant/cheaper.

Puma 1.7 fast road piper cams

fitting is pretty involved. 4-5 hours if you know what your doin and you have the cam locking tool, a 41mm socket for the engine mount and an E18 torx socket thing for the pulley bolts.

dude its exactly this that causes stainless to fail prematurely from work hardening under the cyclic loads!

    Jacko's most prejudiced hate.....

sorry. 12.9 are mild. all the 8.8, 10.9, 12.9 designations are mild as stainless bolts are graded differently (a1-a5 (autensitic) and c1-c5? (martensitic)) the majority of my stainless xox's are A2 as i rarely need more than this and they get expensive quickly. will have a root around for...
