Ok, it looks nice. But it's a good £5K overpriced IMO.

You'd think someone who is a 'specialist car' seller would get the specs correct for the ad :roll:
Only 123 hp :eek:

Same place that had a RS200 up for sale last year at £125k and is now £200k

God loves a trier / A fool and his money are easily parted etc etc

:-o Is anyone even going to bother looking at that price!? Bonkers, anyone got any history on this one?

How many people go on and on about the FRPs only going to increase in price and when someone actually goes bold, you mock them!

I say good on them for taking a risk and just possibly, a trend changer.
You might want to find out what they've done to this one too...

^ My point exactly.

And as for what they've done to this one. - precisely cock all.

And yet you offer no corroborating evidence. You just expect everyone to bow down to your obviously superior knowledge.

Forgive me if I don't.

At the end of the day, it's not worth what they're asking for it. Maybe if it had 10% of it's mileage, and was factory fresh, they could ask around £9k, and someone would buy it. As it is they'll have the car in their possession for as long as they'll have the RS200 that's also ridiculously overpriced. Which has cropped up now and then in their adverts for the last 7 years at least...

I'd want it to have a less worn steering wheel for that price :grin:

It does look like a nice one from the photos but the description doesn't make it sound like it's worth that price when you compare it to some of the others which have sold recently.

I'm all up for keeping the values high and good on the garages that try but I think they will be holding on to that for a while at that price; anyone remember that £10k FRP in St Ives? I wonder if they've sold that yet.

So right , if all owners set a bench mark 2k higher than it is currently, the small selection of cars on the market cars could inflate the prices. Supply and demand, just like the housing bubble around London.

I saw that ad and nearly covered my PC in tea!!

13k is alot for a FRP, they will go up in value but not that quick!

now one at £12500

Brilliant if they start selling at that

0259 - W592AVW

Not been taxed since April 2009, I did have that down as being a gonner!

Nice to see it alive and well even though it'll probably want a fuel pump the first time its driven any distance :lol:

Here's hoping! Very low mileage for a car that age, P7000 tyres when did Pirelli stop making them? Guess this one hasn't been used much over the past few years either. The pictures on this don't seem to do it justice sure it's a very clean car for that kind of money! (It had better be or they won't be shifting this one any time soon either!)

I looked at FRP 259 in March and posted the following info in this thread > http://www.projectpuma.com/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=24414" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

I went to have a cheeky look at this FRP this morning, thank you for the heads up Ross!

The car has been dry stored and not driven since 2009, it has a few age related issues and a few small isolated rust patches underneath. It would be a great car to have in the garage for someone who has a bit of time to sort out the minor niggles and is looking for an orignal example with extremley low miles.

Note;

It's still on orignal tyres, brake discs and brake pads.
It's only had one cambelt change and every Racing Puma should of had at least two of these, with the third being done next year (2015).
It's still on the orignal exhaust system, however the back box is a little shabby and would need to be replaced in my opinion to bring it up to standard.
I would only purchase this car if you had dry and damp free storage facility and had no intention of driving it.
