1.4 exhaust

i saw the hoffmann race tube on ebay. and i would fancy something more sporty on the puma. but i would combine it with the original back box and manifold. will there be a noticeable difference.
How will it sound ?

If it deletes the centre box then it will certainly be a bit louder. There will be absolutely zero performance gain and you won't notice a difference in the drive, but it will sound a bit better.

As above.. Sounds better but without being loud.

I've found with the hoffman, you have to clamp up your back box super tight with a lot of sealer as it will leak due to the Hoffman being a slightly smaller diameter than the original tailpipe.

Ooh, that explains why I had to use sealant when I fitted mine... and it still blew after that!
