1.6 driveshaft with a 1.7 wheel hub

Hi all, so the puma failed it’s mot on the bottom ball joint. However it’s not the ball joint it’s the wheel hub assembley to which the pin on the ball joint sits into has worn away. The hub assembley to where the shock absorber would sit I have bought is off a 1.7, however mine is a 1.6. Will the driveshaft fit into the 1.7 hub? Or are the teeth different?

I believe the hub is the same so the driveshaft should fit straight in.
