1st time doing a cambelt

Done my 1st 1.7 cambelt today, what a nightmare. Took 10hrs, takes less time to put whole F1 car together. I could not believe how much stuff you have to remove to get where you need & getting the bottom pulley off is unbelievable.No problems changing the belt, tensioner or getting it timed up though.
Im just glad my other 1.7 has had it done just before I bought it.

Just the clutch to do now!!!!!!!!!!!!! & breaks all round & full service & sort the arches & rest of the bodywork. Then I can start to look at the other one. Must be a labour of love

thats why I get someone else to do work on the car, far too fiddly for me.
