300mm brake upgrade

has anyone fitted the st170 disc/mondeo caliper setup to their pumas yet. would be interested in comments regarding improved stopping power and pedel feel over the 258mm and 240mm setups.

I can tell you from experience,, fitting them to a fiesta st150... they are incredieble.

Yeah, I fitted mine on Saturday afternoon and they're wayyyy better than my standard 258mm and seem to be getting better as they are bedding in. Seems I need very little pressure to get the same braking force as before....

And they look bloody HUGE!!!...lol

Thanks for the comments this mod seems to be cheap and very effective!!! It would also seem possible to fit focus st225 front calpiers if suitable 4x108 hole 30mm discs could be found for a 325mm upgrade with 17inch wheels would this work????

I think they would have been nicer if you have painted them looks pretty big from the pictures.

I think I'll be getting my calipers painted before they go in, and of course, need the bigger wheels too

Was a spur of the moment thing to fit them. It was raining so couldn't wash the car so went round mates and stuck the nose in his garage and fitted them in under 2 hours.
Was going to paint them black so even though I didn't they're mucky which isn't far off black anyway...lol

i have 280mm discs from mondeo mkII, they are OK
i think that at least those with 238mm discs should change it.. they really dont work
