6 x 9 speakers in back depth maximum

hi guys

i am looking replace the standard rear speakers with these 6 x 9 ones

what is concerning me is the depth of them

i have seen on other feeds and posts that 3-3/16 inches fit ok

but the speakers i want to see if i can fit are these

the depth is 3.5625" for these speakers

can anyone help?

Take your old ones out n see what will fit or not..

they would easily fit... not a nice choice of speaker tho :?

4-way will sound HORRIBLY bright.. 2-way sounds a lot better :wink:

i am on a budget so hence the choice of speaker i do understand that 4 way doesn't mean better that 2 way but these have the highest power ability in the price bracket

not that i am justifying my choice cos if i had the funds i would look for better :wink:

the power rating of the speaker has got nothing to do with the quality of final sound

out of all the speakers iv'e tried over the years, by far the best for the rear speaker pods are the entry level ones by Boston Acoustics which are rated at 35w RMS
