Yeah its really not good!

So you can cure it without removing the dash then?

I am relieved to here that!

I shall do it tomorrow and remove the carpets and seats to dry them properly!

Looks like it might be wise for me to buy a new door membrane to unless I can reseal that

The part that covers the door behind the door trim as mine is hanging off

Yes, a loose (or torn) internal door membrane can cause serious water ingress into a car. Any one who had a mid-nineties Laguna or early Jetta/Vento or Passat will attest to that.

Resealed the door membrane tonight at work and also lifted the fuse box and pollen filter housing, found a gap under the fuse box where I think it may be coming in. Resealed that and I will put it on water test tomorrow!

Still no further forward with the water leak!

Took the seats and carpet out tonight. Looks like the water is coming in up next to the ECU still so think next step is going to be removing the dash so that I can get a proper look behind it.

all of the passenger side is soaking! Drivers side is wet next to where the pedals are and the bottom of the heater box

Dashboard is out of the Puma. Removed it earlier tonight. Just need to put a hose on it and find out where the water is coming in now!

How the car looks at the moment!

Located the water leaks on the car today. It is leaking via the grommet near the scuttle panel and also from the Servo mounting brackets!

Water leak is now fixed!

Had 4 leaks in the end, Water was leaking from the main wiring harness, there was a gap in the sealer in the passenger footwell, Leak from the windscreen and a leak from the pollen filter housing. Car is bone dry and more or less back together.

Got a few things left to do such as reconnect the speedometer cable onto the gearbox end, refit the seats, refit the steering column shrouds but it's getting there!
