caliper springs

Hi all,
Just fitted new discs and pads and I cannot get the anti rattle springs back on as I'm quite old and don't have much hand strength any more.

Can anyone suggest a way or a method for getting the li'l buggers back on please?

They can be a little tricky, I usually put the top pin in the hole first then push the bottom in just a little and pull the bottom of the spring into place then gently tap the bottom pin into place. where are you based? there may be a member close by who could come round and help
