cam belt cover?? do we need it???

Yes.It's not like engine cover. Which I had a 5 hours fight with, but at the end 1 screw didn't move and had to cut 1 corner off. Anyway, that's there for protection, not decor. If something from the road will get up there, the speed of the cambelt will shoot that item out like a bullet and the damage to the engine can be...well, you can imagine.
 
I cut the top half off mine, so the pulleys are visible but the bottom half is still protected. Best of both worlds :eek:k:
 
I have run cars in the past with the covers missing, but I think it's wise to keep it fitted.

I've seen clear covers for some cars, does anyone do a clear one for the Puma?
 
Run cam covers at all times as your engine doesn't look very smart when a piece of gravel gets in and breaks the belt.
