Anybody know where i can get a really good service for some new tyres...
I've looked at kwik-fit and other... so does anyone know some better places on the high street or t'internet.

I'm looking at cost as a major influence... so any cheap places for premium tyres

Try looking for a shop on ebay called topgear or topgear tyres or something. They do four toyo proxies for £130 delivered, you wont get a better price, not in my experience. You just need somewhere local to fit em.

NEVER EVER use kwik fit, national tyres or any of these franchises. they will

1) destroy your locking wheel nuts OR key OR both
2) scratch your alloys and/or chip the paint with thier rusty "crowbars"
3) deny any of te above and say it was like this when it came it.

Don't expect T1-R / T1-S performance with toyo PX4E though.

definitely camskill!! theyre just round the corner from me aswell, and a relative works there. ill be popping down saturday for a quote for some work.

I've been going to a local tyre place near me in Oxford for the past 18years- their fitted price is a smidgen off the on-line prices and more importantly they can tell me if they can get the tyres.

No need to wait for a courier and cart them off to a tyre place to get them fitted either.
