Great write ups. I live in Swindon and used to do Coombe regularly. Do you do the open pit days? My FRP is having work done on it at the moment and I'm thinking of doing just 1 before I start properly restoring the bodywork

If you book through Castle Combe they are Semi Open pit days. We have done a few at Combe with Javelin and Castle Combe Direct, I prefer Semi or Open days, I am not a fan of sessions, great for your first ever trackday, but not so great if you have 2 drivers or more.

With Castle Combe own track days, they operate a semi open pitlane when its busy with 15/20 minute sessions, otherwise they can run open pitlane if its quiet. It was the busiest I had ever seen last week and we only ever queued for the next session, going out on track when the current lot come in.

I noticed they had a trackday on Trackdays.co.uk for a SATURDAY August the 6th, I'm waiting to hear if we can go.
