Just picked up a 1.7 puma and I have a few leaking shocks I'm looking at taking it to the ring next year and wanted to know are there at differences in the puma and racing puma suspension ie lowering or weight set up

Yes there are differences as described in this thread:-

The Frp dampners do not fit the standard puma unless you have the knuckles machined, the rear ones will fit as long as you have the fork type rear beam.

Think you'll find all FRPs have eye rear forks, not fork.

(This doesn't answer weight / height etc though)

Right so rear fit 100% the front knuckle joint will need to be widened to accommodate the new strut. Hmmm or purchase of a frp knuckle

if you do get frp knuckles, your camber vil de off....

best bet unless your planing to go the frp route, is to get a set of uprated standard dampers instead..

Right thanks just won a full set of frp suspension for £60. Gutted really. I'll have to look Into struts and springs. Then
