BUT...what if you DO break down...lets say on the motorway, how you gonna get towed? and I'm sure a tow truck uses a winch right? to winch it up the platform from the tow eye. you'll have to fudge about and get nasty dirty in the sludgy mud to remove the bumper. Or am i over thinking it, maybe missing something.

Anyway love the car, how much you pay for the wheels?

Maybe in the case of a tow truck it could be winched up backwards? having said that, that would involve some dangerous faffing about on a motorway which a tow truck might not be willing to do

Let's just hope when she breaks down on the motorway she spins out (safely) and is pointing in the wrong direction right smack bang on the hard shoulder.

I am also planning on buying lowering springs, new wheels and getting my wings redone because the rust is doing an encore.
Comments welcome

Lovley car, thanks for sharing your ideas, to be honest I wasn't sure about the green wheels at first but then when you sprayed your second set thought they looked great, and great idea to keep your polished ones for the summer. :)

Always a good idea to keep a set of winter wheels... I have a set of battered OZ tourismo's for mine, as well as my standard 9 spokes :D

Yes, I too agree. Having a set of winter wheels with winter specific tyres on them is a good idea. Gives you a chance to pull off the good ones and get them refurbed if you need to.
Im creating a winter package with front bumper, bonnet and a few other things for my car during the winter season.
