I have emailed a trade user on Passion Ford about flocked dashboards as I am interested and I know a few of you on here have mention that you are aswell.

The minimum group for escorts was 2 but he is going to make an appearance later in the week on here to tell us more.

Just gauging interest really.

The original price for the escort dash was £75 + PnP

Means taking the dash out to send to them thou?

Id also want the other parts of trim done to match thou.

Pillars by windscreen and seat belt, maybe even door trims......

sorry i wont be making this purchase anymore as I have now been informed theres a dash flocking company in my local town... (saves on PnP) I only got told once I started talking about it to my dad today.

if you two want to carry it on from here then thats no problem as he will be making himself known on here shortly hopefully and only needs 2 for a group buy.

has anyone ever removed a dash on here? I have removed about 60% of mine but don't want to set off the air bag or something silly.

leave battery disconnected for at least an hour before touching airbags k:

Just disconnect the battery and the airbag module yellow connector on the passenger side footwell.

A dash is a pig to get out and but back in, I also removed the metal framework on mine to save wait. I got my dash done at Magnum motorsport in St Helens.

Its a frame that runs around the back of the dash, leased a couple of kg in it.

its not that hard tbh i did it in my old r reg fiesta zetec as long as u know how to take the steering wheel off shouldnt have any problems,
also how much is gonna cost up by you?

might be worth goin to a scrappy and taking a fiesta dash and switching when its flocked, thats what i planned to do.
