So day one of a lot of work sees at this point, the rear brakes swapped out.
Out with the old drum brakes and in with an ST170 set up. New discs and new pads were fitted also.

Whilst under initial scrutiny, it seems that the seller of this did not send the handbrake cable so a new one has been ordered and also the brake pipe fittings have shown the signs of old age so new ones have also been ordered.

With an invitation to have the rear calipers painted to much to pass up, it will also see the Alcons on the front having a new lick of paint splashed on them so that they are co-ordinated.

So although the brakes have been swapped over, we will return to this in a few days for the final touches.

Ignore the wheels... they're only my winter wheels which are a temporary lend until he can get his speedlines to fit over his alcons :lol:

Yes, I have a slight issue with my hub bolts not being long enough so this will be rectifed before Rockingham I hope.

All that is left is to weld the turbo flange plate on and we are good to go.

Its very close to the buldhead but a considerable amount of heat shielding will be put in place.

Flexi pipe?
If you mean the brake lines... then they are standard ST170 brake lines.
