Front fog lights. Anyone done it?

As title really. Noticed my dipped beam on the puma are very poor. So I want to add a pair of fog lights up front. I'm very surprised that they aren't fitted as standard to be honest.

Anybody done it? Thanks in advance.

Why not just change the bulbs ,alot easier and you shouldnt use fog lights when its not foggy.

It's entirely possible as the higher spec Fezs of the time had fogs, so the wiring is procurable. Otherwise just an eBay set of boggo lamps would do the trick.

The bracket screws into the x member and like the others have said, the wiring is easy enough to fabricate yourself. Just need the wiring, fuse, relay, switch etc.

They were used as OEM in many cars. Focus ST170, first series of BMW X3 just to name few…

Btw, they sell for crazy money as ST170 fog lights on eBay. You can buy them cheaper NEW (granted without the plastic surrounds, but they wouldn't fit to puma anyway)

Used to be sold by an Italian company called Lester.
Rarer than RHS now, I would buy them from jimfrp88, should come with the black plastic mounts that fit in the ends of the grill.

I got them from someone who listed their Puma as they were breaking it for spares.
