Hi all,

I should be getting hold of some refurb'd Gaz dampers however they have the older Fork type mount rather than eye which is (i presume) what i have now.

The seller has kindly said he will include a free rear arm for those who need it (just pay for pnp) which accepts the fork type. Is replacing the rear arm a big job? My bro has plenty of experience and is quite competent. Does anyone know what it involves taking off to replace?

You need to strip off the hubs and ABS loom, then fit to the new beam. Yours will almost certainly be eye type, so you will need the beam. Don't forget you will also need some spacers as the older beam is 20mm narrower.

Ok so 10mm spacers either side?

I'll try and get some eye type as it seems a bit much just for some shocks despite them being less than a couple of hundred quid for a full set.
