Is there any way of obtaining a T number?

I need a new key and I see on eBay that if I provide the seller with the T number they can get it cut and posted out to me, which is ideal.

However, despite a mountain of history, I can't find any record of the T number.

Is there any way to obtain this from somewhere, a Ford website/database perhaps?

The original supplying dealer will have had it, it would have been a black plastic tag attached to the key. If you know who supplied it originally ask them. Alternatively pop into your local dealer and ask them to "read it"
