Lambda differences, if any.

Hi everyone.
I`m after an answer to a techie question...

Are the signals from each of the three styles of Ford lambda sensors all the same , or do they work in different ranges.
For example, would fitting a blue, post cat sensor where a black `tape` type sensor work without issue.
or do I need the correct sensor for the application..

Just bumped into this. The precat lambdas (black on TAPE car and Green on DIVE) are the same tape of probes and produce the same signals. The postcat lambda can not be used in precat position. I hope that answers the question, if I understood it correctly?
