I followed all the earlier postings on this to try and cure a leak which seemed to come in over the drivers side doorseal and run down to soak the carpet. I replaced the seal and even cut bits out of it as one poster suggested but could not eradicate the problem. Having found that a similar problem on my BMW stemmed from a well known issue of the vapour barrier having become unstuck from the door frame I took the door card off the Puma and sure enough found that the vapour barrier had come unstuck in two or three places. Sticking this back has cured the leak. Since the vapour barrier is primarily designed to stop moisture coming through I did not imagine that it also held rainwater out but I guess that water coming in by the window runs down the door frame and finds gaps between the door and the barrier. Worth a look if anyone has failed to resolve the leaking problem.
