hi just a quick question if my engines been changed from a 1.4 to a 1.7 will this still be ok for the mot as long as the emission are low thanks

should be fine,i think nearly all petrol cars have the same emissions limit.but i might be wrong :grin: just make sure engines nice n warm that will help it.
 
If the modification is registered with the DVLA then you don't have anything to worry about. However, the tester will most likely follow the guidelines and test for an unclassified car and do the default test, which will cover most petrol engines with a cat.
 
There is a default test used for emissions when the make/model/engine cannot be determined. The tester will more than likely carry that test out.
