Full Transfer Information for Vehicles registered in Northern Ireland

Registration marks can only be transferred between the DVLA and DVLNI from vehicle to vehicle

As this registration mark is held on a certificate, by law it must be transferred to a DVLA registered vehicle before it can undergo a second transfer to your vehicle registered in Northern Ireland.

We can supply a DVLA registered vehicle for the first transfer and complete this two-part transfer at a supplement of £207.50 (to the Self Transfer prices).

The extra fee consists of

£27.50 Full Irish transfer administration
£100 Donor vehicle fee
£80 Second Government transfer fee

The transfer process to Northern Ireland takes 2 months on average but it can be up to 3 months.

Doesn't work out that cheaply
