Hi, When I boot it in 3rd, 4th and 5th clutch slips been quoted £386.00 to replace!! ouch!!! I might just try and live with it and not boot it?!!!

Is that supply and fit? Look under the recommended garage list on here if you get stuck, LUK or SACHS clutches are perfectly fine about £120 with new slave.

Luk are OE, you won't have an issue. Check your local eurocarparts branch for pricing, should be less than £100. It's probably worth asking them if they can recommend somewhere after they've given you a quote. A lot of the time a clutch specialist will get massive discounts and be able to under cut their retail price even I they're getting the same part from them. That quote seems a bit over te top to me.

Im in St.Albans, Herts the cheapest supply and fit quote i've had so far is £330 Mr. Clutch in Luton?

just had my clutch done, £325 for LUK clutch and slave fitted.
i bought the clutch for £120 and tried to fit it myself but couldnt fit the box down past the subframe and my crane was lent to someone 6 months ago and havnt heard from them since.

if your confident go for it yourself and save £200

Eurocar parts aren't that bad, replacement silncer was cheap and still going strong, used them for parts on other cars as well and never really had an issue.

They also have a return service with no questions asked, just give it back and they give you money.
