Noisy on full lock

Hi All,

recently done some work on suspension parts which meant bulling drive shaft from gear box, only slightly, not removing the shaft or the gaiters.

now its all back together it is noisy on full lock i.e. when parking etc.. any idea what it could be?

Are you sure you didn't pull apart the inner CV joint?Might be worth popping the boot off and checking

Also check to see if the top mount is 'skidding' on the turret. Mine did this until I squirted a little lubricant on it.

This usually only happens if you have certain coilovers fitted as they bring the top mount closer to the turret than standard.

Sorry for delay - thanks for replies.

Regarding the inner CV joint (it must be this as it does sound almost like gears not meshing right), what will I have to look out for? Will the gaiter clip be re-usable? Will grease come out / need to be replaced?

I think it only happens on Right hand down lock, any idea which side this might indicate it is?
