Hi

My 1.7 puma engined fiesta won't start,
It's been parked up for 18 months inside my garage.
It ran fine before being parked up.

now it has fuel but no spark.
What should I be looking at next?

Thanks

May well just be the battery, mine tends to die every winter when the car is not driven for months.

Bit of an update,

Coil pack had no switched ground/negative present at the connector,
Cam sensor tested OK,

So I went about swapping out the ecu as the ground/negative supplies for the coil pack are directly fed from ecu.

Spare ecu fitted, then realised I don't have a matching fob.
So switched back to original ecu, then tried 1 final time before calling it a day and it fired up straight away!!!

So God knows what was wrong but now it's working fine???

Battery is fine its been on a trickle charger and has been cranking the engine over most of yesterday

Could have just been a week connection on the ECU. Great to hear that you've got it running.
