Hi All,

I have just been given a Ford Puma but the lights do not seem to work. The Full beams work, the brake lights work, but dipped or normal headlights (Front and Back) do not work.

I have checked all the fuses but nothing seems to be wrong there.

The car did get knocked from the back and I need to replace the rear bumper but I do not think that this would of made this happen or maybe it has??

Any ideas as to what it could be?

Cheers

Hi, welcome to our little forum.

Do your side lights and dash lights work? It's possible that the problem is simply the switch on the indicator stalk. Drench the switch with WD40, and wiggle it back and forth to work the liquid in, and see if that helps.

If it doesn't work, let us know and we'll try and help you work out what's wrong.

Sounds like what Cherie says. (Did it on mine a while ago as the symptons were the same as yours)
Work the WD40 in when the lights / ignition off though of course

Cheers guys!

It was that after all.

Went out and got a brand new stalk assembly.

It now works fine. Got from a breakers so didn't cost alot.

Thank you
