And yes, brakes can be somewhat lacking although yours should have the bigger ones (258mm discs if I remember correctly)
I still upgraded mine to the 300mm Mondeo/Focus ST170 setup though.
Yes, my Puma has 258mm brake discs. I wouldn't want to do a drastic intervention but put more performing discs and pads and braided brake lines. Could it be a valid solution?

In short - yes.

To be honest, even new standard discs & pads could make a big difference depending on the age & wear of the current ones.
Then there is the age of the brake lines.
And let's not forget the age of the brake fluid which also makes a difference. (y)

So, new discs/pads/lines & fluid should definately make a difference, but I cheaped out & just went with bigger instead of better!! :ROFLMAO:
