Hi all,

I have a daft situation on my car where I have a different boot lock and key to the rest of the car (doors & ignition), it's getting annoying so this needs sorting out.

Am I right in assuming to sort this I will need to source a complete set of locks with keys? If so what age puma (if there is one) has a blank standard key i.e no buttons on the key, as the remote modules are not fitted to the car.

Many thanks

Dan

It's not a simple job to change all the locks. The easiest should be the boot/hatch lock.
If you're mechanically minded, you can get kits to rebuild cylinders to a different code, matching the other key:

They all had remote locking so a single key set typically will have a fob of some sort although if you want one with the standard key that can be arranged.

Thanks for this, I didn't know you could 're-profile' the locks to suit another key. I'm not too bothered if I have to swap out all the locks, so this might be an easier option.

That's what I thought. I'm guessing I'll have to get news keys cut on standard keys if I want a non-fob set of keys for the car. Do you have a full set of locks available with keys?

I have a lock set with a standard key but yes if you wanted a few non-fob you'd have to cut the additional ones.

This is the item - just put in the note that you want the non-remote key.

There's no rush, I'm still in the middle of sorting my fuel tank. I've put up with it for the last 18 months so another week or so won't hurt!
