The light streak was made by a passing police car- I was stood in the middle of the road with the camera on a tripod doing an 8 second exposure at 1.38am

The camera will automatically set itself up to 10 seconds I think...I chose the sharpest settings- low ISO and small aperture in all cases.

One shot I took needed 35 seconds exposure which I can do using the remote control
