Puma possible wheel arch

I was having a think the other day about wheel arches for the puma and thought would the extended arches from a mk1 mx5 fit with a little adjusting maybe.

Yup exactly that type of thing but smoothed out with wheel spacers and what not. I'm thinking of getting a set and making them fit the puma then making some moulds with fiberglass.

Also I would cut inline with the quater panel to make it look more original and also make it so the fitting can be done on the inside if the arch rather then the outside ?
