When I get to 40-70 mph the drums at the back sound very loud, the brakes are great though.
I have grinded back the rust on the current drums to bare metal (around the lip) and still it persists, could it be the bearings or the carrier plate? If the latter can these be replaced? Now the 'resonance' after grinding is at a lower speed.
I think that someone in the past has used a crowbar to force the drums off and distorted the carrier plate (not by much mind).
Anyone had this problem?
EDIT: I should point out that when the alloy wheel is off the drum spins but can still hear a low level noise!
