Remote central locking

Hello everybody,

i have some questions about simple central locking without alarm of a 2001 Puma to switch on remote central locking system of a 99 Puma with genuine Ford parts.


if i only change the GEM module (central locking module) and i buy a new 3 buttons key,
is that's can work to open and close the doors and boot ?

it's although only possible to go to a gem module of a 2000 -> 2001 version of a GEM... before that they had infrared locking which had another GEM
